Everyone finished it and everyone liked it. We had a fabulous discussion about it. I was very skeptical that the book's length would drag some members down but that wasn't the case. I've spoke to several gals who discussed in their book clubs with the same results.

I do think that there will be several gals who won't finish the tome we are reading for next month, The Thousand Autumns of Jacob DeZoet. Set in colonial Japan, there are just too many confusing names and places. Ugh.

Have a fun, and non-tiring trip to DC. I am so jealous of people who live on the East Coast and can just hop over to DC or Connecticut for the week-end. :)Anne@HeadFullofBookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01069558006454986084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-371737332853765197.post-36278647031480022652011-05-09T18:17:40.699-04:002011-05-09T18:17:40.699-04:00Cutting for Stone sounds very interesting! I would be interested in hearing if there's any real continuity to the story and characters. Also, I'd love to find out what you know about the connection between Lyme disease and CFS. And treatment options.
