I love that she's a bitch, but she's decent underneath. You have to read Linger, as Isobel gets her own PoV chapters and a (hot) love interest. Linger is probably slower than Shiver, though - it's just not an action-packed series; it's a romantic one.Brasilhttp://pinkcheck.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-371737332853765197.post-70552168599774819392011-03-02T18:37:19.294-05:002011-03-02T18:37:19.294-05:00Well, I'll gladly take your recommendation sol...Well, I'll gladly take your recommendation solely on the fact that you didn't read the Twilight books. I read to page 100 or so in Twilight and quit...it was so poorly written!! It certainly was NOT a "dazzling" book!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-371737332853765197.post-49592411785516613982011-02-28T11:28:16.012-05:002011-02-28T11:28:16.012-05:00I was surprised by the direction the book went in ...I was surprised by the direction the book went in in Linger. I have read most of the Twilight books (excluding the end of the last book)but have not hear of these. I might try them out. I help write the My Wonderful World blog for National Geographic and I have to wonder if young people are losing their sense of place and possibly reality by looking for paranormal, out of this world experiences.Beckyhttp://blog.mywonderfulworld.org/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-371737332853765197.post-19008913798180348452011-02-25T06:12:33.571-05:002011-02-25T06:12:33.571-05:00It took me a while to get to this book too and whi...It took me a while to get to this book too and while I liked it I was not overly impressed. Still I read Linger, which I did not like much until the cliff hanger ending and will probably read the last book just to find out what happens to Sam and Grace.Jan von Harzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01911676835023825470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-371737332853765197.post-49109403080649440982011-02-24T21:51:36.421-05:002011-02-24T21:51:36.421-05:00I'm not a big fan of the teen paranormal roman...I'm not a big fan of the teen paranormal romance genre, and was surprised to like Shiver, too.

Will read Linger soon, I'd like to see where Stiefvater takes the story.sumthinbluehttp://sumthinblue.comnoreply@blogger.com
